Imprinted Concrete

Pattern imprinted concrete is seen more and more these days as homeowners look for harder wearing surfaces when considering a new driveway or patio. Imprinted concrete will also require a lot less maintenance than block paving.

Because the imprinted concrete does not have any sanded joints like block paving it is easier to keep looking good. However, with exposure to sunlight and frequent use it can lose some of its original colour over time.  Car tyres will also mark and deteriorate the surface of the concrete over a period of years if not cleaned regularly.

Re-sealing and re-tinting the imprinted concrete once every few years is very imprtant to ensure the original colouring stays true. This will also help to maintain the value of a property and give it visible 'kerb appeal'.
